The short version

I only collect the information you choose to give me, I only use it to respond to you and to provide my services, and I never sell it or share it for marketing. Client confidentiality is integral to how I work — and that begins with how your information is handled.

Who I am

This website belongs to Samantha Jayne Foreman, trading as Samantha Foreman Stylist (ABN 63 430 586 884), a personal and editorial styling business based in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. What I collect

The only personal information collected through this site is what you type into a form yourself:

• Contact and booking enquiries — your name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, and your message.
• Style notes newsletter — your first name and email address.
• Free resource requests — your first name, email address, and the guide you’d like.
• Gift card enquiries — your name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, and the details of your gift.
• Giving Back nominations — your name and email address, the name of the person you’re nominating, and what you choose to tell me about their circumstances.

You can also reach me directly by email, phone or social media — in which case I’ll hold whatever contact details you share the same way.

Giving Back nominations

Nominations often include sensitive information — about health, treatment, and deeply personal circumstances. Client confidentiality is integral: every nomination, and every recipient, is held in strict confidence.

What that means in practice:

• Nominations are read only by me, and treated with care.
• The information in a nomination is used only to consider the nomination and to be in touch about it — nothing else.
• Nomination details are never used for marketing, never added to any mailing list, and never shared with anyone.
• Recipients are never named or publicised.

How your information is used

Your information is used only to respond to you, to arrange and deliver the service you’ve asked about, and — if you’ve subscribed — to send you the Style notes newsletter. That’s it.

Your details are never sold, never rented, and never shared with third parties for their marketing. No lists sold, no noise.

How it’s handled and stored

This is a simple, static website, and it keeps things simple behind the scenes too:

• Form submissions are delivered to my email inbox by FormSubmit, a form delivery service, and then held in my email.
• The site is hosted by Netlify, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) as part of serving any website.
• The site’s typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google when a page loads.
• This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or profiling of any kind.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask at any time to see the personal information I hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted — just email samantha.foreman.au@gmail.com and I’ll take care of it. You can unsubscribe from Style notes at any time, no hard feelings.

I handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you’re ever unhappy with how your information has been handled, please tell me first so I can put it right — and you also have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page, with the date above refreshed. Any changes will always keep the same spirit: your information, treated with care.
